Impulse Group was formed in February 2011 with the support of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). It consists of a core group of socially active, young gay men who seek to educate their peers and promote healthier sexual lifestyles using modern social approaches.

As Impulse Group members, we seek to support and give back to the community we love. By protecting ourselves and promoting safer sex for others, we hope to inspire a sense of responsibility and pride in our community. As young gay men, we must take ownership of our own health, and spread this message to the people we love.

The rise of HIV infection rates in young gay males is what makes our mission of sexual responsibility vital and more important than ever. At Impulse, we concentrate on all areas of prevention, detection, and treatment. Impulse makes no distinction between those who are negative and those who are positive. We are all in this fight together.
